NANCY FAY (DEYARMIN) YOUNG Nancy Fay (Deyarmin) Young, 76 of Rural Valley died Tuesday March 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born Feb. 17, 1936 in Cherry Tree, PA, the daughter of the late Rose Jane (Lamer) and Joseph Edward Clyde Deyarmin. Nancy was a seamstress for "Big River Manufacturer" in Kittanning. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and cooking and baking for her grandchildren. She liked to watch the Harness Horses at "the meadows." Before her illness, she enjoyed going on bus trips, making crafts, visiting nursing homes and playing bingo. She enjoyed her cat "Reese" and her son's dog "Shivers". She was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years, John (Jack) Young, her son, Joel Young and wife Janice of Elderton; 3 Grandsons - David Young of Elderton, Michael Young and Wife Gina of Rural Valley and Andrew Young and fiancé Kattie of Elderton; 1 Grandaughter, Katie Young of Elderton; 2 Great Grandchildren that filled her heart with joy, Maria and Jack Young; 3 Sisters - Caroling Askew of Barnesboro, Peggy Webster of Ohio and Eleanor Keith of S. Caroline, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, George, Clyde, Edward, Dean "Skinny" and Lester Deyarmin; 2 Sisters - Alice Laney and Jane Strittmatter. Friends and Family will be received on Friday March 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 Main ST. Rural Valley, PA 16249. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Marino Officiating. Interment will be in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
