Russell Lee Yarger, 62, of Rural Valley, passed away on September 22, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital - Pittsburgh.

He was born on December 18, 1955 to Reed and Lillian Fay (Kimmy) Yarger in Kittanning, PA. Russell was carpenter.

Russell is survived by lifelong companion - Georgine Russell of Rural Valley; father - Reed Yarger of New Bethlehem; mother - Lillian Fay Yarger of Kittanning; two sons - Jesse Yarger and Chad Yarger of Iowa; brother - Gene Yarger of CA; sister - Lisa Matters of Summerville, PA; 3 grandsons - Brady, Ethan, and Caleb Yarger; 3 great-grandchildren - Tyler, Amilla, and Athmilla Yarger; and 2 step great-grandchildren - Sophie and Derek Wright.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will take place in the Copenhaver Crossroads Cemetery, Dayton.
