Virginia Caroline Work, 88, of Sebring, Fl. passed away on June 13, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House - Sebring, FL.

She was born on June 20, 1929 to Joseph P. and Elsie (Flora) Dalessio at Beyer, PA. Virginia was the first woman truck driver for UPS.

Virginia is survived by her daughter - Carol (Thomas) Hall of York, PA; 2 granddaughters - Meredith (Bruce) Torres of Norristown, PA and Loren Hall of Chester Springs, PA; three great granddaughters - Vivienne Giblin, Eva Torres and Serafina Torres; and brother - Frank "Ducky" (Virginia) Dalessio of Beyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 2 brothers - Joe and Samuel Dalessio.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am from St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro with Fr. Fid Levri officiating.

Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
