Roy Henry Wensel, 74, of Nu Mine, passed away on June 12, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on September 27, 1943 to Floyd and Carrie E. (Snyder) Wensel in Nu Mine, PA. Roy worked as a Engineer for PennDot in Indiana. He enjoyed the outdoors, looking at the deer and watching the birds. He most of all loved spending time with his family.

Roy is survived by his wife Rosalie (Buck) Wesel, who he married June 8, 1979; daughter - Carrie Wensel of Nu Mine, PA; three step-daughters - Janet Maines of Big Run, Joyce Hetrick of Home, and JoAnn Lockhart of Marion Center; two step-sons - James Pahner of VA and Jesse Pahner of OH; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren; brother - Marvin Wensel of Meadville; and three sisters - JoAnn "Bub" Wilkenson of Meadville, Dorothy Langdon of Erie, and Leona Casselman of Nu Mine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Justin Lamison officiating.

Burial will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
