Dorothy M. Wadding, 94, formerly of Rural Valley and Yatesboro, passed away on January 16, 2019 at Rose Haven Nursing Home - Indiana.

She was born on February 28, 1924 to Frederick and Nellie (Thomas) Taylor in Yatesboro. Dorothy worked at Schenley Distillery for 40 plus years.

She was a member of Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church and enjoyed crafts.

Dorothy is survived by her three nephews - Frederick (Mary) McLaughlin, Dale (Colleen) Wadding, and Bill (Val) Sperringer; and her two step-sons - Gary (Rena) Wadding and Gene (Rose) Wadding.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Stanley F. "Shadow" Wadding; brother - James Taylor; and 2 sisters - Margaret Sperringer and Geneva McLaughlin.

Friends and Family will be received from 11-12 PM on Monday, January 21, 2019, where funeral services will follow at 12 PM at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley with Pastor Sheila Wadding, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
