Viola Belle Stubrick, 90, of Kittanning Twp., passed away on December 25, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on August 9, 1928 to Lester and Stella (Ruffner) Boyer in Rural Valley. Viola worked for over 20 years as a clerk at Jamesway. She was also a farmer and homemaker.

She was a member of Simpson Church. She was blessed to be able to watch all 6 of her grandchildren.

Viola is survived by her son - Paul (Kathy) Stubrick of Kittanning; daughter - Shirley (Jeff) Zalewski of North Canton, OH; six grandchildren - Andrew, Matt (Katie), Ben (Chantz), and Emily Zalewski, and Edward and Emma Stubrick; sister - Wilma (Robert) Spike of NY; great-granddaughter - Aria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Joseph Edward Stubrick, whom passed away 2/23/2014; and a brother - Lester Boyer, Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, 11:00 am at Simpson Church with Pastor Herb Reefer and Rev. Joshua Webb, co-officiating.

Burial will take place in the Simpson Church Cemetery.
