BERNARD J. SHICK

Bernard J. Shick, 74 of Kittanning, PA, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Allegheny General Hospital .

He was born July 9, 1936 in Cowanshannock Twp., Son of the late Clyde G. and Ila (Cogley) Shick

He enjoyed watching TV, reading Westerns, drinking coffee at Dayton Oil and especially loved his cat Sally.

He worked as a Truck Driver for Bauer Block and Houser Coal .

Surviving are 3 Sisters - Marlene Hunsburger and husband Glenn of Kittanning, Annabelle Shifflett and husband Ronald of Palmyra, PA, and Wanda Frieri and husband David of Kittanning, PA; Brother-in-Law - Paul Lasher; Sister-in-Law - Connie Shick; 2 - Grandchildren, Jessica and Shelton Toy, Numerous Nieces and Nephews and 1 Daughter, Karen Toy and husband Jake of Kittanning, PA, .

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Shick, Parents, 1 Brother - William Shick and Sister in Law - Vera Lasher.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday, December 9 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA 16249.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Craig Lindahl officiating.

Interment will follow in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ.
