LaRue Shetler, 87, of Altmeyer's Country Rest, Kittanning, passed away on March 29, 2012 in ACMH Hospital, Kittanning, PA.

She was born on January 2, 1925 to John and Rhoda (Sowers) Shetler in Plumcreek Twp., PA. LaRue worked as a Secretary for 50 yrs at the First Baptist Church, Kittanning.

She was a member of the Plumcreek Church of the Brethren and the First Baptist Church of Kittanning.

LaRue is survived by her Dear Friends - Earl and Judy Boyer of Rural Valley, PA; .

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Twin Sister, Louise Shetler, and sister, Mildred Shetler.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 01, 2012 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA, with Rev. A. David Meneely and Rev. Randy Derck officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Paul Cemetery, Rural Valley.
