Dorothea Jane (Rupp) Semanovich, 84 of NuMine, PA, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.

She was born July 12, 1926 in Manor Twp., Armstrong Co., Daughter of the late Homer Wilson and Rosa Bertha (Zimmerman) Rupp.

She was a homemaker and loved to play the lottery.

Surviving are 5 Sons - James Semanovich, Sr. and wife Christine of Bakersfield, CA, Peter Semanovich, Jr. and wife Kathy of NuMine, PA, Michael Semanovich of Rural Valley, PA, Jospeh Semanovich of Mayville, NY, and Simon Semanovich of NuMine, PA, 4 Daughters - Marcella Semanovich of Salt Worth, NC, Margaret (Peggy) Hartzell and companion Douglas Drum of Dayton, PA, Anna Fisher of Waterloo, IA, and Stella Miller and Husband Bill of MacDonald, PA, 2 Step-Sons - Fred Semanovich and wife Jean of Poland, OH, and Edward Semanovich and wife Paula of Warren, OH, 1 Brother - Homer Rupp of Kittanning, PA and 1 Sister - Lucille Sloan of Worthington, PA, 22 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Stanley Semanovich, Her Parents, 1 son - Stanley Semanovich 2 Brothers - Ken and Waldo Rupp 4 Sisters - Ruth Walker, Hazel Prugh, Mildred Wells and Nelda Sloan.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday, September 21 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.
