TOM V. SCHRECENGOST

Tom V. Schrecengost, 72, of Dayton, passed away on May 6, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on October 13, 1944 to Kenneth I. and Mary Jane (Schlemmer) Schrecengost in Kittanning, PA. Tom worked as a Construction Worker, McCreary Tire and a Janitor for the Armstrong School District. Tom was an active and dedicated member of the Dayton First Church of God, life member of the Rural Valley Fire Dept. and a member of the coffee club at the Country Junction. The loves of Tom's life was God and his two granddaughters - Marisa and Alexis.

Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years Suzanne (Coleman) Schrecengost; daughter - Kathy (Edward Kaplon) Zik; his two granddaughters - Marisa and Alexis Zik; Three Brothers - Phil Schrecengost, Charles "Bud" Schrecengost, and Denny (Rhonda) Schrecengost; five sisters - Mary E. Fulton, Jane (Gary) Townsend, Judy (Larry) Coon, Martha (Fiancé John) Butler, and Susie (Jim) Spelock.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and 2 brothers - Harvey and James Schrecengost.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2017, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm at First Church of God, 1059 State Route 839, Dayton, PA 16222.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 11:00 am at the Church with Rev. Kenneth Seidler, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Round Top Cemetery, North Mahoning Twp.
