Mary A. Schrecengost, 66 of Rural Valley, Plumcreek Twp. Died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born September 28, 1945 in Brick Church, PA, Daughter of the late Glenn Rugh and Mary Ethel Woodside.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing and was the past president of the Lioness Club.

Surviving are her husband, Carl S. Schrecengost, whom she married July 13, 1968; 2 Sisters - Helen Kaufman of Kittanning, PA and Fay Umbaugh and husband Raymond "Fred" of Manorville, PA; 3 Brothers - Howard C. Woodside and wife Shirley M. of Worthington, PA, James A. Woodside and wife Shirley of Ford City, PA and Glenn R. Woodside and wife Dianna of Brick Church, PA; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Her Parents; 2 Brothers - Ralph and John Woodside and 1 Sister - Ina Pearl Burkett, preceded her in death.

Friends will be received 2-5, Sunday, December 4 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ, Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.

Interment will follow in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery, Kittanning, PA 16201.
