M. JANE RUSNICA

M. Jane Rusnica, 85 of NuMine, PA, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Kittanning Care Center.

She was born November 21, 1925 in Cherry Tree, PA, Daughter of the late Nelson and Margaret (Douds) Shaffer, Sr.

She enjoyed BINGO, Sewing, Steelers, Duke Basketball, and was a big tennis fan.

Surviving are Son - Tom Rusnica and wife Arlene of Pittsburgh, PA; Daughter - Carol Dickey and husband Jim of Rural Valley, PA, 3Grandchildren - Joseph, Steven and Michelle; 6 Great-Grandchildren - Ashley, Makayla, Rachel, Jenna, Mallory and Gabriel; Sister - Helen Gett of Sharon, PA, .

She was preceded in death by her Parents, husband - Michael John Rusnica, Brother - Nelson Shaffer, Jr. and Sister- Verna Pompelia.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday, October 6 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Mass will be held at St. Mary R.C. Church, Yatesboro, Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 with Fr. Daniel L. Blout officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro, PA 16263.
