WILLIAM "FRANK" RUPERT William "Frank" Rupert, 83, of Kittanning died Friday, September 22, 2017 at ACMH Hospital. Born January 2, 1934 in Garretts Run, he was the son of John D. and Sara B. (Lerner) Rupert. On April 10, 1953, Frank married the former Nancy L. Rodgers, she survives. Frank was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville where he served on the council and sang in the choir. For a few years, Frank worked for Valentine & Todd Tow Boat and J.K. Davidson Tow Boat moving coal along the Allegheny. He then worked for Linde Air/Union Carbide as a truck driver and Bradigan Inc. as a truck driver hauling fuel. Frank enjoyed hunting on Poverty Hill, working on vehicles in his inspection station; Rupert's Garage, playing guitar and singing country music at Twin Pines. Frank provided a wonderful life for his family and will always be remembered for his loving and kind heart. He will be greatly missed. Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Nancy L. Rupert of Kittanning; 1 daughter, Carol L. Schall (Charles Raymer) of Templeton; 2 sons, Douglas F. (Debbie) Rupert of Kittanning and William J. (Jenna Buechele) Rupert of Rural Valley and 1 sister Jane Eddy of Kittanning. Frank is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Sara (Jeremy) Oliver, Amanda (Mike) Krafick, Andy Rupert, Justin Rupert, Christopher (Lindy) Schall, Andrea Schall, Keith (Becky) Beckett, Mark (Melinda) Beckett, Bobby Beckett, Erin (Steve) Fabry and Christopher (Laura) Lash and 18 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Helen Smith and Janet Rupert, 1 brother; Lawrence Donald Rupert and 3 nephews; H. Donald Rupert, Percy Fiscus and Thomas Eddy. Friends of William "Frank" Rupert will be received 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Kennedy-Blodgett Funeral Home 253 North Grant Ave, Kittanning, PA 16201 Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 25, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville with Pastor Jack Delk, officiating. There will be no visitation at the church. Committal and burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
