Louis Paul Rumbaugh, 68, of Kittanning (Valley Twp.), passed away on May 2, 2012 in the Kittanning Care Center .

He was born on July 19, 1943 to the late Charles and Jessie (Clowser) Rumbaugh at NuMine, PA. . He resided in Kittanning since 1961. He went to Humbolt Institute in Minneapolis, MN and then worked for Delta Airlines at various airports within their system for ten years. He then return to the Kittanning Area and went to the united States Army from 1962-1968. He was a Vietnam Vet. Louis worked for Heilman Trucking - 8years, Pullman Standard in Butler - 18 years and for the Liquor Control Board for 18 years.

He attended church at Salem United Church of Christ. He attended various country schools and graduated from Kittanning High School.

Louis is survived by numerous nieces and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother - John R. Rumbaugh and sister - Francis Pauline Rumbaugh Smith

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 03, 2012 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA, with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.

Burial will take place in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
