DELMA JUNE (PASSERINI) ROCCO

Delma June (Passerini) Rocco, 89 of Rural Valley passed away Friday March 24, 2017 at Margaret Manor.

She was born June 6, 1927 to August and Filomena (Maffei) Passerini. Delma was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro, where she also belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. Delma liked to cook and bake for her family and play cards.

Delma is survived her husband - Joseph A. Rocco, whom she married Jan. 22, 1947; three sons -Henry (Jannet) Rocco of Canonsburg, Thomas (Saranell) Rocco of Rural Valley, and James (Cheryl) Rocco of Kittanning; daughter - Anna (Brady) Duncan of Yatesboro; 6 grandchildren -Angela (Darren) Smith, Erin (Eric) Carlson, Danielle (Butch) Shankle, Kattie (Andrew) Young, Julianna Rocco and Anthony Rocco; six great grandchildren - Colton Rocco, Megan Carlson, Alyssa Carlson, Audrey Smith and Hudson Young; and a sister - Rosalie Rocco of Rural Valley.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Brothers - Louis Gosetti, Alfonso and Henry Passerini; and two grandchildren - Michelle Duncan and Joseph Rocco.

Family and Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday March 26, 2017 from the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA 16249. Mass will take place on Monday from St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro with Fr. Douglas Dorula and Fr. Efren Ambre officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro.
