Jack R. Reesman, 70, of Dayton, (Wayne Twp.) passed away on December 9, 2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born on January 27, 1948 to George and Verda (McGregor) Reesman in Wayne Twp., PA. Jack was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Open Pit Mining. Jack loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren, Jackson and Abigail Reesman. The family will also cherish his memories. He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed nascar.

Jack is survived by his wife Gloria L. (Notto) Reesman, who he married Oct. 18, 1969; two sons - Jack R. (Laurie) Reesman, Jr. and Jason R. Reesman, both of Erie; brother - Gary (Shirley) Reesman of Dayton; three sisters - Lois Carter of OR, Dorothy (Robert) Kanish of Sebastian, FL and Jane Morchesky of Sebastian, FL; and 2 grandchildren - Jackson and Abigail Reesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers - Charles, George, Jr., and Glenn Reesman; and 2 sisters - Grace Murray and Verda Rothwell.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral blessing will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Fr. Douglas Dorula, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro.
