FRED "MUS" G. PERRY Fred "Mus" G. Perry, 96, of Beyer, passed away on March 14, 2017 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 7, 1920 to Angelo and Catherine (Angelo) Perry in Beyer, PA. Fred worked for Penn Dot in Indiana, retiring in 1983. On July 17, 1954 he married Rose Bruno. They lived in Beyer, PA all their lives. Fred was a Army Veteran serving during WW II. He was member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church - Yatesboro and the former Sacred Heart R.C. Church - Sagamore. Fred also belonged to the VFW - Sagamore and the Dayton Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, watching sports, helping others and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Fred is survived by his wife Rose Perry; two sons - Fred (Rosemary) Perry of Coral, PA and Rick (Vicki) Perry of Beyer; two granddaughters - Melissa Perry of Bridgeville and Tina (Justin) Presloid of Punxsutawney; two grandsons - Michael Perry of Bridgeville and Austin Perry of Coral; 2 brothers - Dom "Chum" Perry of Erie and Charles "Chick" Perry of Kittanning; two step-granddaughters - Jill Sawyer of OH and Carli (Jeff) Vanlear of Indiana; special brother-in-law - Rudy Bruno of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother - Anthony "Skip" Perry, 10 sisters - Pauline Buffone, Candis Trunzo, Rose Lucarotti, Theresa Comi, Mary Chetoni, Anna Mae Lucas, Virginia Vernick, Elizabeth Luchetti, Joan Bailey and Cora Ann Licato. Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2017, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11:00 am at St. Mary, Mother of God Church - Yatesboro with Rev. Efren Ambre, officiating. Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery - Sagamore with full military honors by the Armstrong Co. Honor Guard.
