EVELYN WOODENE "DEANY" PATTERSON

Evelyn Woodene "Deany" Patterson, 86, Formerly of Rural Valley died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Donnell House, Washingon, PA.

She was born October 30, 1924 in Cowanshannock Twp., Daughter of the late Berton and Ida (Hill) Rearic.

She had the Former Arctic Cat Dealer in Rural Valley and loved to snowmobile and Camp. She was a member of the NuValley Presbyterian Church, Rural Valley.

She Owned and Operated Valley Drive In Restaurant and Otie's Snack Bar with her Husband.

Surviving are 1 Son - Ronald Patterson and wife Diana of Kittanning, PA; 2 Daughters - Donna Wiegand and husband John of Kittanning, PA, and Sherri VanHorne and husband Ron of Washington, PA; 1 Sister - Clara "Huhn" Brown, Michigan, 8 Grandchildren - Jeanette Panchik, Stacey Duris, Richard Patterson, Thomas Patterson, Jessica Steiner, Jason Stile, Kristi Bradley, and Nicole VanHorne, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Otis "Otie" Patterson (DOD 5/30/2003), Parents, 1 Son - Richard Patterson (DOD 10/10/1970) 4 Brothers - Dale, Orville, Frederic and Merle Rearic and 2 Sisters - Margaret Heilman and Helen McKinney.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8, Monday, December 6 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at NuValley Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Craig Lindahl officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
