Harold "Harvey Duke" L. Patterson, 77, of Dayton, passed away on August 10, 2017 at the ACMH Hospital.

He was born on January 11, 1940 to Andrew and Sarah (Uplinger) Patterson in Kittanning, PA. Harold worked many jobs in his life, most to always help others when they needed it.

He was a member of Dayton United Methodist Church.

Harold is survived by his four daughters - Sarah Patterson of Elderton, Heather Zak of Kittanning, Christy Zak of Rural Valley and Cathy Shankle of Kittanning; son - Mike Atherton of Kittanning; 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her parents; and numerous brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will take place in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
