Mabel A. Passerini, 90, of Rural Valley, passed away on May 20, 2018 at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

She was born on January 10, 1928 to Joseph and Grace Corina (Montresor) Zamperini in Blanco, PA. Mabel worked as the Office Manager/Notary for the former Passerini's Sales and Service.

She was a member of Altar Rosary Society and was very devoted to her church. She especially enjoyed cooking with the other kitchen ladies for every event, from the fish fry's to funerals. She also enjoyed playing cards, quilting and crocheting.

Mabel is survived by her daughter - Dina (Jeff) Troup of Kittanning; sister - Lillian Moore of Rural Valley; brother - Angelo J. Zamperini of Abbot, Maine; two grandsons - Shane (Katy Rayburn) Troup of Nashville, TN, and Nick (Taylor Fugini) Troup of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Alfonso Passerini, whom passed away Sept. 17, 1997; and sister - Norma Zamperini.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, 2- 4 & 6 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, 11:00 am at the St. Mary, Mother of God Church - Yatesboro with Fr. Douglas Dorula, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Mary R.C. Cemetery - Yatesboro.
