LOIS E. PARKS

Lois E Parks, 92, of Rural Valley, passed away on June 15, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on July 26, 1925 to William and Gladys (Graden) Harkleroad in Cowanshannock Twp. She was a member of Dayton First Church of God.

Lois is survived by her five sons - Donald Parks, Robert (Maxine) Parks, Darl (Debbie) Parks, Gary (Vicki) Parks, and Mark Parks, all of Rural Valley; six daughters - Nylene (Darhl Empfield) Thomas of Indiana, PA, Vivian Johnston of Kittanning, Betty (Kenneth) McCullough of Cherry Tree, Connie (Steve) Cogley of Rural Valley, Pam (David) Kirkpatrick of Rural Valley and Karen (Greg) Carnahan of Rural Valley; two brothers - Blaine (Florence) Harkleroad of Dayton and Earl (Betty) Harkleroad of Kittanning; sister - Helen McKelvey of Ford City; and 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Donald C. Parks, who died in Oct. 29, 1989; son-in-law - Gary Johnston and brother - William Harkleroad.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Monday June 18, 2018 at Dayton First Church of God, State Route 839 Dayton, PA.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 8PM with Rev. Kenneth Seidler, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dayton First Church of God or to the Harkleroad Cemetery Association.
