CHARLES JUNIOR O'HARROW Charles Junior O'Harrow, 86, of Rural Valley, PA, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Fairwinds Manor, Sarver. He was born October 4, 1923 in NuMine, PA, to the late Charles R. and Jennie Pearl (Jewart) O'Harrow. He was a Life Member of the Rural Valley Fire Dept. 51 yrs, American Legion Cosgrove Post and Fan International Trailer Club - Keystone Chapter. He worked as a Truck Driver for Bell Transportation delivering for Union Carbide, Linde Division - Kittanning . He retired after 37 years in 1986. He recieved the Million Mile Safe Driving Award from Mayor Caliguiri. He was a PFC Quarter Master in the Army during WW II, where he was involved in the European Invasion. He landed on D-Day in Omaha Beach. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Vicki Sukala and husband Albert of Sarver, PA and Mona Burkett and husband Garry of Warner Robbins, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Brianna Sukala, Justin Sukala, Danielle Burkett and Ashlee Burkett, 1 Niece, 3 Nephews, . He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife- Eleanor Jane O'Harrow DOD 5/14/1994 and 1 Sister - Rose Luke. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Monday, June 14 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA. Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Craig Lindhl officiating. Interment will follow in the Rural Valley Cemetery, . Contributions may be made to the Rural Valley Fire Dept.
