TWILA R. McINTIRE

Twila R. McIntire, 91, of Rural Valley, PA, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Altmeyer's Country Rest Home, where she resided for the last 3 years.

She was born March 6, 1919 in Echo, PA, Daughter of the late Charles Cogley and the late Laura (McIntire) Cogley.

She lived in Rural Valley and Dayton Area, she was a homemaker and a member of Dayton Campers Association.

Surviving are Son, James McIntire and wife Dixie of Punxsutawney, PA, 3 Daughters, Myrna McIntire of CA, Verna Hoffman and husband Leonard of Shippenville, PA,, Nancy Kozuch and husband Steven of Kittanning, PA, 14 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, .

She was the last surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wesley McIntire, Her Parents, 3 Brothers - E. Wade, Blaine, and Willard Cogley 2 Sisters - Ethel Reese and Wanda Logan.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Friday, May 21 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Gary Jewart officiating.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Union Cemetery.
