Mildred Elizabeth McHugh, 84, of Ford City, passed away on March 22, 2017 at the ACMH Hospital.

She was born on January 22, 1933 to Homer and Florence (Miller) Leonard in Vandergrift, PA. Mildred worked as a Caregiver.

She was a member St. Michael's Episcopal Church - Wayne Twp. Mildred enjoyed gardening and her animals.

Mildred is survived by her husband Charles "Skip" McHugh, whom she married January 15, 1955; two daughters - Tamara "Tammy" (Stan) Rusnica of Rural Valley and Beth (Robert) Shoemaker of West Kittanning; granddaughter - Carrie (Travis) Cress; grandson - Timothy C. Shoemaker; great-granddaughter - Alexander Allen; and great-grandson, Michael Allen.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; and 2 brothers - Wilbur and Arnold "Arnie" Leonard.

Private Graveside Service will be held at the Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA, with Fr. Arthur Dilg, officiating.
