Leio Andrew Mattilio, 82, of Rural Valley, passed away on September 24, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

He was born on October 21, 1935 to Santo and Josephine (Ortenzo) Mattilio in Cowanshannock Twp. Leio worked at Pullman Standard and Eljer. He always wanted to be a teacher and wasn't able to finish college, but he taught his family a lot about life. The Stonebraker step great grandchildren helped take care of pappy Leio.

Leio is survived by his daughter - Linda Kay (Daryl) Mattilio- Yeomans of Rural Valley, PA; step-daughter - Sally Beck of Nu Mine; brother - Fred (Anna) Mattilio of Rural Valley; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. .

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Margaret (Smith) Mattilio, who died 10/11/2000; Step-Daughter, Sandra Oaks, sister, Mary Ling, sister, Helen Mattilio.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral blessing will be held on Friday, 10:00 am at the Funeral Home, with Fr. Douglas Dorula, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
