WENDELL DEAN MARSH

Wendell Dean Marsh, 79, of Dayton, passed away on January 21, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on June 4, 1937 to James and Mary (Maharg) Marsh in Penn Twp., Butler Co. Wendell worked as a Truck Driver for US Postal Service retiring in 2000.

Wendell was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the Navy. Wendell enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandsons farming and doing anything involving cars. He also enjoyed the good cooks at the family gatherings.

Wendell is survived by his wife Pauline (Bussard) Marsh, whom he married in 1958; two sons - Terry Dean (Andrea) Marsh, Rodney Alan (Shelley) Marsh; daughter - Wendy Sue (Arthur) Brocious, all of the Dayton Smicksburg Area; three grandsons - Austin Brocious, Matthew Marsh and Andrew Brocious; three granddaughters - Rhonda (Kyle) Fairman, Alison Brocious, and Christa Marsh; 2 great-granddaughters - Mackenzie and Bridget Fairman; two sisters - Charlene Kaltenbach of Mars and Dorothy Andes of Lititz; Brother - Marvin (Janet) Marsh of Myrtle Beach, SC;

He was preceded in death by his Parents

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at 1:30 from the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA 16249. Burial will take place in the Smicksburg Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Sheila Wadding and Rev. Micah McMillen officiating.
