KATHRYN MARKEN

Kathryn Marken, 92 of Rural Valley, PA, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Indian Haven Nursing Home.

She was born September 9, 1919 in Spangler, PA, Daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Zawytck) Kashur.

She was a member St. Mary R.C. Church, Yatesboro.

Surviving are 1 Son - Robert Marken of Commodore, PA; 3 Daughter - Shirley Kluk of Mentor, OH, Jean Cadile and husband Edward of Indiana, PA and Patricia Chimino and husband Richard of Homer City, PA; 1 Brother - Harry Kashur of Rural Valley, PA; 1 Sister - Emma Oresick of Boston, Mass.; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Granchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband - John Marken, who died Apr. 15, 1983; Parents; 1 Son - John Marken; 6 brothers - Mike, Steve, John, Frank, Nick and Joe Kashur and 2 Sisters - Ann Wartuk and Mary Dellatto.

Friends will be received 5-8, Wednesday, October 26 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at St. Marys R.C. Church, Yatesboro, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Blout officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Marys Ukranian Cemetery, Ford City.
