William Eugene Lorenzo, Jr., 76, of Dayton, (South Mahoning Twp.) passed away on January 23, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on June 8, 1941 to William Eugene, Sr. and Anna Marie (Kocopi) Lorenzo in Sagamore, PA. He received his Bachelors Degree from Carnegie Tech. William worked as a Computer Programmer for IBM. He was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era.

He was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro, Sacred Heart Cemetery Committee, and Shannock Valley Memorial VFW Post #6555. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially doing mechanical and woodworking projects.

William is survived by his wife Claudia (Lewis) Lorenzo; daughter - Barbara L. Lorenzo-Rygney of Round Rock, TX; two brothers - Frederick (Fran) Lorenzo of Gettysburg and Francis "Babe" (Sandy) Lorenzo of Plumville; and a sister - Rita Berner of Greensburg.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Private services were held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA 16249 with Fr. Medil S. Aseo officiating.

Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sagamore.
