Madeline Leona Leonard, 94, of Rural Valley, passed away on April 28, 2018 at Margaret Manor.

She was born on October 25, 1923 to Pasquale and Anna (Policastro) Borelli in Conrad, PA. Madeline worked as a Secretary for Ruby Coradi Accounting and Armstrong School District. She enjoyed gardening and working around the house. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Yatesboro. Madeline was a Navy Wave during the Korean Conflict.

Madeline is survived by her son - Richard F. (Susan) Leonard of Indiana, PA; daughter - Pam Kunkle of Rural Valley, PA; two grandsons - Eric and Andrew Leonard; granddaughter - Autumn Kunkle; and sister - Louise Gerardy of Port Allegany, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Richard F. Leonard; son-in-law - Greg Kunkle; sister - Margaret Costa; and a brother - Alfred Borelli.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the St. Mary R.C. Cemetery Chapel with Fr. Douglas Dorula officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Mary R.C. Cemetery - Yatesboro with full military honors by the Armstrong Co. Honor Guard.
