W. EARL LAUSTER

W. Earl Lauster, 87 of Rural Valley, PA, died Friday, July 29, 2011 in Beacon Ridge Manor, Indiana.

He was born April 25, 1924 in Rural Valley, Son of the late Wilbert Earl, Sr. and Minnie A. (Beestriz) Lauster.

He was a member of Rural Valley American Legion.

He worked as a laborer for 12 years at the Former PPG in Ford City. He retired from Bracken Construction Co. as a Truck Driver.

He was a WWII Veteran, having recieved the Purple Heart and 5 Battle Stars.

Surviving are his Son - Mitchell E. Lauster of Dayton, PA; Daughter - Linda Krecota of Home, PA; 4 Grandchildren - Jon, Jared, Jennifer and Lacey; and 7 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. (Wadding) Lauster, who died July 7, 2010, and 3 Sisters- Dorothy Boyer, Helen Lias and Evelyn Krizmanich.

Friends will be received 7-9 Tuesday, August 2 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Elizabeth Trexler officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rural Valley Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA 16249.
