Mary Elizabeth Kromer, 88, of Rural Valley, (Plumcreek Twp.) passed away on September 23, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on June 12, 1930 to Lawrence and Roberta (Beck) Wilhelm in Plumcreek Twp. Mary lived in Plumcreek Twp. all her life. She enjoyed her house plants, sewing, crocheting and listened to country music and polka's. She played the role of Aunt Mary to everyone.

Mary is survived 2 nephews - Martin (Debra) Wilhelm and Bob (Dee) Wilhelm, both of Rural Valley; and 2 nieces - Patty Yorko of Rural Valley and Susan (Robert) Sheffler of Elderton; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christ Kromer, who died March 30, 1999, her parents, brother - L. Harold "Bud" Wilhelm and sister - Doris Hoover.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 1:30 pm at the Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Kromer, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Harkleroad Cemetery.
