FRANK J. KOWALCYK

Frank J. Kowalcyk, 87 of Baden, PA, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in UPMC Passavant - North Hills.

He was born July 23, 1923 in Houtzdale, PA, Son of the late Frank Leo and Catherine (Greenland) Kowalcyk.

He was a member of Ambridge Sportsman Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a veteran, serving his country during WW II.

He worked as a Welder for H.H. Robertson Co., Ambridge, PA.

Surviving are his wife Sara (Kirkpatrick) Kowalcyk, whom he married on Nov. 25, 1944; 1 Daughter - Mrs. Ernie (Sally) Bilotto of Alexandria, VA; 1 Son - Frank R. Kowalcyk of Boyers, PA, and a Sister - Mildred Pribicko of NuMine, PA, .

His Parents and 1 Brother Raymond Kowalcyk preceded him in death.

Friends will be received 5-8 PM, Tuesday, March 1 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at 1:30 PM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Yatesboro, Wednesday, March 2, 2011 with Rev Daniel Blout officiating. (Everyone please meet at church)

Interment will follow in the Smicksburg Methodist Cemetery, Smicksburg, PA 16256.
