KATHLEEN OLIVE KIRKPATRICK

Kathleen Olive Kirkpatrick, 85 of Dayton, Wayne Twp. died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her residence.

She was born November 5, 1926 in Hawthorn, PA, Daughter of the late Melvin and Bertha (Kellar) Martz.

She was a member of the Belknap United Church of Christ. She loved her flowers, gardening and antiques. She was a workaholic. Most of all she enjoyed spending timewith her grandchildren and family.

She worked as a Custodian for Dayton High School .

Surviving are 2 Sons - Dennis Kirkpatrick and wife Patricia of Shelocta and Thomas Kirkpatrick of Shelocta; 3 Brothers - Joseph E. Martz and wife Kathy of Kittanning, Raymond M. Martz and wife Doris of Hawthorn, PA and Morris M. Martz and wife Karen of Sunnyside; 2 Sisters - Joanne Crytzer and husband Ron of Dayton and Barbara Martz of Adrian; 4 Grandchildren - Charles G. Kirkpatrick and fiance Billie Marconi, Nicholas P. Kirkpatrick and wife Michelle, Eric Kirkpatrick and Angela Rhea and husband Brian; 3 Great-Granddaughters - Oliva Kirkpatrick, Ava Rhea and Sydney Kirkpatrick; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Special Friends - Candace Kirkpatrick, Debbie Padgett and Adam; and a very special dog - Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sylvester Kirkpatrick, who died in 1959, Parents, 5 Brothers - Melvin, Franklin, Charles, Robert and an infant; 2 Sisters - Geraldine Silverman and Betty Jane Martz.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Friday, November 18 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA .

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Micah McMillen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Belknap Cemetery.
