Floyd E. Kirkpatrick, 83 of Rural Valley, PA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana

He was born October 28, 1928 in Barnard (Cowanshannock Twp.), Son of the late Robert Earl and Hazel (Coleman) Kirkpatrick.

Floyd was an army veteran and he formerly worked for Loudan Properties and was also a truck driver.

He was a member of American Legion Cosgrove Post 523- Rural Valley.

Surviving are his wife - Grace (Boyer) Kirkpatrick; 3 Sons - Robert and Larry Kirkpatrick of Spokane, WA and David Kirkpatrick of Rural Valley; 1 Daughter - Colleen Cornwell of Rose Valley, PA; 1 Sister - Lucille Brice of Spring Church, PA; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by His Parents, 2 Brothers - Harold and Paul Kirkpatrick and 1 Sister - Ruth Jean Snyder

Private Services were held.

Interment will follow in the Harkleroad Cemetery.
