RALPH M. KIMMELL

-Ralph M. Kimmell, 84, of Merritt Island, Fl, formerly of West Leechburg died June 2, 2010. He was born in Sagamore, Pa to John R. and Hazel V. Kimmell.

He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Ida P. Kimmell, sister Fay Crooks and brothers Joseph, Donald and Paul Kimmell. He is survived by Daughter Marsha (Charles) McEachern of Merritt Island, FL, grandson Christopher (Kim) Eaton of Rockledge, FL, Granddaughter Courtney (Jeff) Ray of Commerce City, C, Brothers Floyd (Betty) and John (Joanne) Kimmell and sisters Ruth Aikens, Verda Thomas and Eleanor (Ron) Rose.

A retired general foreman for Allegheny Steel, Mr. Kimmell was a n elder in the Cocoa Presbyterian Church, where he sang in the choir. he also was a Mason and a lifetime member of the VFW, BPOE, DAV and L.O.O.M. He served in WW II with the 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater.

Funeral service will be June 9, 2010 at 2PM with visitation 1 hour prior at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. 724 Main St., Rural Valley, PA 16249. Interment will take place in the St. John's Cemetery, Sagamore, PA.
