TIMOTHY J. "JET" JOHNSON

Timothy J. "Jet" Johnson, 63, of Ford Cliff, passed away on March 26, 2017 after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his girls at home.

He was born on December 12, 1953 to Arnold "Jet" and Arlene J. (Smathers) Johnson in Kittanning, PA. Timothy worked as a Caster for Eljer Industries for 30 plus years.

He was a member of member of USWA 158 and the Tuesday night card club. He was a loyal husband, loving father, hard worker, had a good sense of humor, loved the casino, and drinking coffee on the porch with his dog Libby.

Timothy is survived by his wife Nancy D. (Lemmon) Johnson, whom he married May 21, 1977; two daughters - Jennifer Johnson of Ford Cliff and Jessica (Scott) Davidson of Plum; grandson - Austin Litteck; granddaughter - Emily Litteck; five sisters - Darlene (Butch) Braughler of Dixonville, Betty Lou (Ron) Sell of Harrisville, Susan (Ron) Kostella of Rural Valley, Kathy Gray of W. Kittanning, and Lisa Kaplon of Rural Valley.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; brother - Larry Johnson and infant sister - Vicki Johnson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 2-4 & 6 - 8 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Robert Lemmon, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
