Timothy Lee Hunter, Sr., 55, of Dayton, Wayne Twp., passed away on January 22, 2018 at ACMH Hospital.

He was born on April 5, 1962 to James Robert, Jr. and Bernice (Drohn) Hunter in Kittanning, PA. Timothy worked as a Laborer for Eljer in Ford City.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mentoring youth in both. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and Field and Stream. Tim was a Army Veteran.

Timothy is survived by daughter - Vanessa Hunter of Rural Valley; son - Timothy Lee (Nina) Hunter, Jr. of Rural Valley; brother - Lewis (Norma) Hunter of Kittanning; four sisters - Tillie (Robert) Schreckengost of Erie, Betty (Richard) Lias of Smicksburg; Deborah (Butch) Hunter of Kittanning, and Melissa (Michael) Eckman of Kittanning; three granddaughters - Jadence Brletrick, Alexialeigh Hunter, and Addisyn Wynkoop; three grandsons - Russell Brletrick, Braden Hunter, and Keaton Hunter; step-daughter - Malinie Barnett and step-son - CJ Barnett; step-granddaughter - Kinley Simon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother - Jimmy Hunter.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11:00 am from the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Marino, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Pleasant Union Cemetery.
