GEORCE F. HISCHUCK, JR.

George F. Hischuck, Jr., 77 of Yatesboro, PA, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at his residence.

He was born October 21, 1933 in Cowanshannock Twp., Son of the late George and Mary (Ondos) Hischuck.

He was the Chaplain of the RV American Legion #523, Sec. Shannock Valley Sportsmens Club, William Penn Association, Woodmen of the World #687, and attended RV Senior Center. He enjoyed reading, hunting, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He retired from PA Dept of Public Assistance, Kittanning in Dec. 1991.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria (Cogley) Hischuck, whom he married Aug. 3, 1960; 1 Son - Gregory Hischuck wife Karen of Ashburn, VA; 2 Daughters - Marcia Bleakney husband Ray of Indiana, PA, and Michelle Knepshield husband Dave of Rural Valley; 5 Grandchildren - Nathan Knepshield, Blair Hischuck, Hailey Hischuck, Tibet Bleakney and Lance Bleakney; 4 Sisters - Elizabeth Pristas, Julia Lindsay, Frances Arend, and Anna Mae Stark, .

He was preceded in death by Parents.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-9, Thursday, August 4 at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Mass will be held at St. Mary R.C. Church, Yatesboro, Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Blout officiating.

Interment will follow in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery , Kittanning, PA 16201.
