Ernest M. Hill, 77, of Sagamore, passed away on November 27, 2017 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice - Butler.

He was born on January 12, 1940 to Ernest Mike and Henrietta (Kaiser) Hill in Sagamore, PA. Ernest worked as a Police Offier - K 9 Unit in Hampton, VA, a coal miner for Helen Mining - Homer City, and was the maintenance man for Bob Marcus in Indiana. He was a member of the Community Bible Church in Sagamore and was an Army Veteran.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 59 years - Priscilla (Rairie) Hill; two sons - Michael (Pam) Hill of Willet, PA and Mitch (Paula) Hill of Bolivar, PA; daughter - Machelle (Mark) Barrett of New Middletown, OH; Brother - Roger Hill; four sisters - Patty Kirkpatrick, Sue Mauk, Linda Moretti, and Karen Reasor; and 4 grandsons - Michael, Justin, Anthony, and Noah.

He was preceded in death by father his parents; 2 sisters - Peg Smyers and Judy Cribbs; and 2 brothers - Bob and Vince Hill.

A memorial service and dinner will be held on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Community Bible Church, Sagamore with Pastor Ken Brannon officiating.
