Lucy Henderson, 92, of Rural Valley, passed away on March 15, 2012 at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning, PA.

She was born on April 23, 1919 to Elza and Rosa (Parks) Tuttle at Miracle Run, WV.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star #277 Kittanning and the NuValley Presbyterian Church, Rural Valley. She was a very compassionate, giving and loving person, helping out many in need. She assisted with all activities and dinners in her church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and canning. Lucy will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Lucy is survived by her Extended Family whom she loved dearly - Tom, Debbie and Kevin Lundgren of Rural Valley, PA; Sister-in-Law - Norma Jean Tuttle of Crossroads, WV; Great Niece - Sherry Patterson of Crossroads, WV and a Great Friend - Shirley Moore of Homer City, PA.

He was preceded in death by her parents, Husband - Rex M. Henderson, whom died April 27, 2000, 1 niece - Sharon Harker and 2 Brothers - Fred and James S. Tuttle.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012, 4:00 PM at the NuValley Presbyterian Church, Rural Valley with the Rev Sally Lydic and Rev. Peter Bower officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to services at the Church.

Burial will take place in the Olive Cemetery, Pentress, WV, where a graveside service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
