William L. Hartzell, 70, of Kittanning, passed away on February 28, 2012 in the Kittanning Care Center.

He was born on January 6, 1942 to Delbert and Lois (Gearhart) Hartzell in Dayton, PA. William worked as a self employed Upholsterer. He was a member of the Kittanning Men's Club.

William is survived by 2 sons - Delbert Hartzell and wife Antionette of Nu Mine, PA and William Hartzell and wife Dustie of Kittanning, PA; 4 daughters - Rebecca Brocius and husband Gerald of Kittanning, PA, Bunnie Farster and husband Ron of Kittanning, PA, Leigh-Enda Dilts and husband Jay of Atwood, PA and Reona Long and husband Mark of Atwood, PA; 3 Brothers - Lewis Hartzell, Ray Hartzell, Donnie Hartzell; 6 sisters - Fran DeVaughn, Stella Monoskey, Barbie Ann Blose, Hazel Scott, Virginia -, Ethel Branan; 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Brother - James Hartzell and 1 sister - Sarah Boarts.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 02, 2012 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & Friday, March 02, 2012 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held Privately.
