Shirley I. Hartzell, 82, of Rural Valley, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on May 16, 2017 at the Armstrong Co. Health Center.

She was born on April 17, 1935 to Harry and Bertha (Blystone) Sink at Home, PA. Shirley was a member of the Holiness Gospel Center, Sagamore. She enjoyed plastic canvas, crocheting, puzzles and bluegrass festivals/music.

Shirley is survived by her two sons - Randy (Trina) Hartzell of Rural Valley and Rodney Hartzell of Rural Valley; daughter - Rita (Kevin) Bish of Dayton; sister - Ruth Martin of Indiana; brother - Robert Sink of Thompson Falls, MT; three grandsons - Scott Bish, Joe Hartzell and David Hartzell; three granddaughters - Kristy Bish, Heather Meyer and Jessica Guyett; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers - Clarence and Beryl Sink; and 2 sisters - Becky Coleman and Helen Sink.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2017, 1 - 3 & 5 - 7 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 pm with Pastor Kal Henry, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. John's Cemetery, Sagamore.
