SHIRLEY W. GUNTER

Shirley W. Gunter, 73 of Plumville, PA, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 26, 1937 in Sagamore, PA, Daughter of the late Harold J. and Ida W. (VanHorn) Isaacson.

She was a member of the Cornerstone Worship Center of Indiana. She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved soap operas and was a former Sunday School teacher at the former Sagmore Church.

She was a Homemaker and worked for the former NuMine Sewing Factory .

She will be sadly missed by 5 Daughters - Kathy Swalga and husband Bud of Clarksburg, PA, Pamela J. Kinzey of Sagamore, PA, Iva Celia Anderson and husband Charles of Plumville, PA, Kim Vallies and husband Jerry of Dayton, PA and Ginger Morgan and husband Brad of Creekside, PA; 3 Sons - James R. Gunter, Jr. of Plumville, PA, Harold Gunter of Plumville, PA and Jason Gunter of Plumville, PA; Special Aunt, Dorothy VanHorn of NuMine, PA and 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Gunter, Sr. DOD 3/6/1980, Parents and 1 Sister - Myrna J. Harrison.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Friday, October 8 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scot Pifer officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. John's Cemetery, Sagamore, PA 16250.
