Michael Edward Gulish, 89, of Rural Valley, passed away on June 20, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on November 1, 1927 to Michael and Helen Elizabeth (Fabian) Gulish in Punxsutawney, PA. Michael worked as a Coal Miner for R&P Coal. He enjoyed playing softball and baseball.

Michael is survived by his three sons - Michael B. (Charlotte) Gulish of Rural Valley, Thomas E. (Christinia) Gulish of Yatesboro, and Ronald J. (Tammy) Gulish of Yatesboro; daughter - Debra J. (Guy) Spera of Rural Valley; sister - Dorothy McGinley of Clarion; and 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Catherine (Evans) Gulish, whom died Oct. 5, 1990; daughters - Helen and Lucinda Rose Gulish; and a granddaughter - Monica Gulish.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

blessing service will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Fr. Efren Ambre, officiating.

urial will take place in the St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Yatesboro.
