Doris Jean Gulas, 72, of Sagamore, passed away on May 30, 2019 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born on April 29, 1947 to Haven Willis and Dorothy Marie (Hughes) Hetrick in Brookville. Doris was a homemaker and was a very caring and compassionate mother and person. She would help anyone that was in need. She was a member of the former St. Mary, Byzantine Catholic Church in Sagamore.

Doris is survived by her son, Jeffrey Gulas of Sagamore; two grandsons, Jason and Dylan Gulas; granddaughter, Emily Skinner; 4 great grandchildren; and extended family member, Joseph Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Gulas, and son Joseph W. Gulas.

Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.

Burial took place in the St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Sagamore.
