NEIL A. GRESS

Neil A. Gress, 89 of Rural Valley, PA, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 6, 1920 in Cowanshannock Twp., Son of the late Paul W. Gress and the late Olive (Cooper) Gress.

He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Cowanshannock Twp. and work at Fairman Lumber, Creekside .

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jane Gress and Son, Hugh Elkin of Big Run, PA, 2 Daughters; Margaret Runco of Beyer, PA and Patricia L. Troutman of Crawfordtown, PA, 6 Grandchildren; Casey, Mont, Jamie, Regina, David and Krystol, 8 Great-Grandchildren; Tiffany, Sedona, Chance, Guage, Joey, Abby, Hunter and Dawson Neil.

He was preceded in death by Parents 1 Daughter - Audrey L. Painter 1 Brother - Earl Gress 2 Sisters - Goldie Reefer amd Mary Lorene Gress 1 Granddaughter - Amber.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday, April 27 at the at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.

Services will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Arlene Schweitzer officiating.

Interment will follow in the Harkleroad Cemetery, Rural Valley, PA 16249.
