Thomas LeRoy Gould, Jr., 37, of New Castle, passed away on September 17, 2018 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital.

He was born on December 12, 1980 to Thomas, Sr. and Diane (McCoy) Gould in Kittanning. Thomas was an oil and gas inspector for the PA Department of Environmental Protection - New Castle.

Thomas is survived by his fiancée - Esther Gould of New Castle; parents of Dayton; son - Clayton Gould of New Castle; two brothers - Shawn Gould of NC and Jason Gould of NuMine; sister - Sanja (Devin) Harkleroad of Dayton; paternal grandmother - Margaret Gould of Dayton; nieces - Gracie, Adilyn and Isabelle Gould, and Jane Harkleroad; and a nephew - Noah Harkleroad.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather - Thomas Gould and maternal grandparents - William and Aletha McCoy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Lamison, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
