Glenn A. Geidel, 87, of Ford City (Kittanning Twp.), passed away on October 14, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice - Cabot.

He was born on February 23, 1930 to Albert and Irene (Boarts) Geidel in Kittanning Twp. Glenn worked as a Equipment Operator for Penn Dot. Glenn served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of Rupp Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of Kittanning Twp. Vol. Fire Dept.

Glenn is survived by his wife Ruth (Sheasley) Geidel; son - Michael (Diane) Geidel of Ford City, PA; and a grandson - Justin Geidel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers - Kenneth and Russell Geidel; and sister - Edith Riley.

At Glenn's request, a private committal ceremony will be held at Rupp Cemetery.
