DOROTHY LaRUE FAIRMAN

Dorothy LaRue Fairman, 80, of Home, PA passed away on November 5, 2017 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born on December 2, 1936 to Harry and Martha (Prugh) Reefer in Plumcreek Township. Dorothy was a life member - Sagamore VFW Ladies Auxillary, where she enjoyed cooking for their functions. She was also a member of the Indiana Eagles. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and going to the casino.

Dorothy is survived by her three daughters - Roxanne (Dave Thompson) Hillyer of Marion Center, Sherry (Mike) Borst of Smicksburg, and Denise Fairman of Creekside; two sons - Greg (Michele) Fairman of Home and Steve Fairman of Creekside; 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; Brother - Harry (Cindy) Reefer of Apollo; and sister - Ella Mae Rowe of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son - Robert Marshall, Jr.; daughter - Glenda Fairman; and a sister - Maxine Graham.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 W. Main St. Rural Valley, PA.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 8:00 pm from the Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Snyder, officiating.

Interment will take place in the Atwood Cemetery.
