G. Ralph Eyler, 88, of Home, PA (S. Mahoning Twp.) passed away on May 27, 2012 at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning, PA.

He was born on December 30, 1923 to Everett and Ida (Dodson) Eyler in S. Mahoning Twp., Indiana Co., PA. Ralph worked as a Carpet Installer for Douds of Plumville.

He was a member of the Plumville Presbyterian Church and the Commercial Travelers. He was a Marine Veteran serving in WW II.

Ralph is survived by his 5 sons - Dennis Eyler of Home, PA, John Eyler and wife Jody of Home, PA, Roger Eyler of Indian Mound, TN, Barry Eyler and wife Tammy of Punxutawney, PA, Todd Eyler and companion Mary Ann Blystone of Home, PA; 5 daughters - Cindy Detwiler and husband Frank of Marion Center, PA, Kathy Sumner and husband Sam of Powhatan Point, OH, Margaret Coleman and husband Beryl of Home, PA, Nancy Eyler of Home, PA, Connie Eyler and companion Jim Abel of Home, PA; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife - Wilminia Lucille Eyler, whom died 10/31/1999; an infant brother; 1 sister - Pauline Stear; 1grandson - Josh Eyler,

Visitation will be held at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, 724 Main St. Rural Valley, PA. on Thursday May 31, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM/

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gaskill officiating.

Burial will take place in the Smicksburg Lutheran Cemetery.
